Default Best tip ever for psychology and sociology

Dear 2014 aspirants

Never Opt psychology.

In 2011 there were 800 candidates opting psychology
In 2012 there were 2000
in 2013 there were 5000 candidates opting psychology

it was the best subject for 2012 but it will be worst for 2013 and onwards.

Sociology

2012 CSS 5009 candidates
2013 CSS 7909 candidates

ab khud andaza laga lo k in subjects ko RAGRA kion lg rha hay ?

instead of these two subjects people must opt public add business add arabic etc

Seniors !!!

Please come to our aid. The trend of psychology looks dangerous for 2014. I scored 77/200 in British history in CSS 2012, despite the best papers. I am planning to replace British History with Psychology. But, the sixth sense is raising alarms, over the trend prospects. Moreover, i have prepared British history twice ( for CSS as well as PMS ).

What should i do ?

its not reasonable to say that since more students r opting this subject, it will prove dangerous. regional languages r always point scoring despite of the fact that many opt them. moreover, it is not time to retreat from ur choice and look for another option. just do it with full of ur potential and be confident!!!

Avoid r
egular use of "Netspeak" or other "cute" grammar or spelling (For example: writing "R U a woman?" instead of "Are You a woman?"). Forum Rules and Policies

Miss Still, if you look at the trend of some traditional subjects, like indo-pak and sociology e.t.c , Fpsc had targeted them because of their increasing selection, by the aspirants.
One never knows whats in the basket.

P.S i agree with you on the regional subjects evergreen trend.

i appeared in 2013 , psychology was my optional subject,i feel that there was nothing wrong with the paper, you can see all the questions within the syllabus prescribed by FPSC
but people who prepared selective topics like in the past they were unable to solve the paper.so i suggest one should prepare thoroughly all the topics prescribed by FPSC
same is the case with other subjects.
gone are the days when people used to get good scores by cramming popular topics
so study thoroughly to get good scores in any subject

Sir, i am referring to the marking trend. In CSS, the most difficult papers fetch above average marks. Whereas easy papers become nightmares in marks sheet.
