Default Psychology dilemma.

Dear members, i am writing this post out of sheer perplexity regarding the concept of discouragement. I have come across ample comments of aspirants and even CSPs saying that psychology will be discouraged in the coming examinations. the paper of 2013 was also difficult is another argument which they provide to consolidate their view. Can you people please tell me that is there any trend of discouragement and is psychology a sound optional for 2014 exam?

Why don't they take psychology out of the optional subjects if they are to do such things? Please steer clear of ignorant losers and don't buy these kind of myths. FPSC can't be involved in such practices.

well, psychology is a sound subject, and it is punished quite rarely because of it being a scientific one. The only thing fpsc can do is that they can either change the pattern of the paper or they can put some out of syllabus questions. But as long as your concepts are clear, you can handle them.

Even then, i will advise to you to first check out the psycho: marks of those candiddates that fail in CE-2013, and then take the final decision.

I am also concerned about psychology. It will be unwise to wait till the declaration of CE 13 result because time is very short for those who want to appear in 2014.

So are you of the view that nothing like discouragement is done?

actually in CSS, there is always an "unpredictable factor" at work with every subject, so you have to live with it. but as far as psycho is concerned, it is unlikely to hit you as long as your concepts are clear.

moreover, don't be so worried about just one subject, CSS is a gamble overall

Just do your prep: and on Allah leave the rest.

They dont want to dicourage. They just want a shift in approach from cramming to conceptual and analytical.

Dsm-4 is outdated , so , you would have to prepare Dsm-5 to remain on safe side . You can purchase Dsm-5 manual from market .
