Default Psychology vs Islamic History and Culture?

Hi, I have done M.Phil. Physics and want to appear for CE-2015, It would be my first attempt.

I wanted to ask which one is better? Psychology or Islamic History & Culture.

My other optional subjects are:

  • Physics
  • Journalism
  • Punjabi

Please guide keeping in mind that i have a really short time for preparation now.

Thank You!

As per current CSS trend history (Even Islamic history or Indo-Pak History) are not marks gaining subjects. If you attempt the paper awesome by writing 10 to 12 pages for 20 marks question and give references along with quotes then you can maximum score 120 to 135 scores. But technical subjects like Psychology, Physics, Geography, Accounting, and Journalism are scoring subjects.

About three or four years ago history was a scoring subject, but not now.

Both are good subjects but psychology is more scoring than history.
History contains long syllabus as compared to Psychology.
Scoring trend vary year to year.
All subjects are good, easy and scoring if you have firm grip on those.
Best of luck

Cool

Any subject can be scoring for you if get good command over it + interest.

Imagine a subject is super scoring and you are weak in it then what will happen?

there is no set rule of high or low scoring trend.
it keeps changing every year.

I am curious about same kind of pair; Indo Pak history Vs Psychology

What I came to know is that History subjects have extensive syllabus, and require strong facts and figure knowledge.
Psychology is better option I think. As I am also looking to chose this instead of History.

Psychology is more scoring as compare to Indo-Pak history, but Indo-Pak history also covers more than half syllabus of Pakistan affairs
