Difficult words in Punjab Rang
Salam.
My question is regarding the difficult words that one come across reading the Punjabi textbook(s). Is it necessary to look up for each and every word in the dictionary? Or we can overlook them and continue reading? Also, if we do not produce 'thet' punjabi in our paper, does the examiner penalize it? I'll be grateful to the one who answers my questions. Regards, |

According to my opinion, you can go along without putting too much effort on one word. It is the context of the word which tells you a lot about the meaning. Moreover, as you read more of Punjabi, you will come across many words used in the same context and thus can replace the word which caused you confusion.
For the 'thaith' Punjabi thing, in any language, it is not the 'thaithness' of it which matters, it is the flow and thoughts which matter. So even if you do not produce the best of Punjabi with the most difficult words, it is OK. Just concentrate on how to develop and present your argument with a flow in common Punjabi. Best of luck |
