Default How to learn writing pashto from scratch

I'm a pashtun by birth and have spoken pashto all my life. My pashto reading is average but I've never written pashto before. How can I start learning to write pashto (using peshawari/yousufzai dialect)?

Does pohanna covers everything from the start like alphabets, writing, dialects etc?

First you need to learn all the letters of Pashto language along with its pronunciation. After that it would be easy for you to read Pohana but Pohana is not suffice you need to read more material.

Good Luck!

Start with learning Pashto Alphabets. Buy a "qaida", ask someone to recite the alphabets to you before writing them down. After you have learned alphabets, start reading and writing Pashto. Last year, I covered the syllabus in 15 days and scored 61.

If you can read and write Urdu, then Pashto writing is rather an easy task, the difference is, Pashto is not written in Urdu script. As members already have pointed, first learn unique Pashto Alphabets and where to use them (in case of five "ye")
