I did not study much for Pashtu. As it was my third and last chance I still did selective study. Only did khushal Khattak, rehman baba, hamza baba and tappa because I always attempted two translation questions. Only 'pohanna' I consulted which is sufficient for Pashtu preparation. Learned proverbs and objective types given in pohanna. It will be good if u attempt two translation questions coz it will save u time. U can give sufficient time to other explanatory questions. Try to memorise maximum shairuna as u have to write minimum of twelve to fourteen Shair in any question either tappa, or any poet. Try to explain every Shair u write and praise the poets a lot

Salam to all pasthon ...I want to opt pastho as optional for CSS 2015 but I don't know reading and writing in pastho ..I just able to speak ...please give me your suggestions that I am able to learn it in one year or to opt another subject

w salam.. This was exactly the situation with me before appearing for css.. with the passage of time i overcome it as it was not that much tough.. so you will also be able to read and write after reading pashto lines twice or thrice.

Selective study means that for Pashto, it is sufficient to concentrate all the energies on the following topics:

(1) Khushal Khattak as a poet
(2) Rahman Baba as a poet
(3) Tappa
(4) Drama
(5) Translations

Pohana is more than sufficient

Got 69 in 2013 Alhamdulilah
