Default Need Urgent Help.. Sociological perspectives.

Hi Everybody,

I am currently attempting to go through sociology. I was reading the official syllabus and came across something that really confused me.

According to the syllabus in sociological theories we are supposed to do:

"The sociological perspectives- Evolutionary, order and conflict, Evolutionary Theorists : Ibn-i-Khaldun Spencer and Tannis,"

while I'm aware of Khaldun and Spencer, I've never heard of Tannis
I have searched extensively on the internet with no answers. I am hoping you guys would be able to help me, it wold be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

Where did you find this? Following is the excerpt from the Revised Syllabus- 2016. There is no mention of Tannis.

II. Sociological Theory:
Three sociological perspectives: Structural Functionalism, Symbolic interactions and
Conflict. Theorists: Ibn-i-Khaldun, Spencer, August Comte, Emile Dukheim, Max
Weber, Karl Marx, Parson.

Default Ferdinand Tonnies.

Ferdinand Tonnies is a German sociologist, sorry my bad. Although it is not mentioned in the Revised Syllabus.
My posts count does not permit to post URL LINKS, a Google search will lead you to his works.
Also, It is discussed in the Sociology book by Tagga.
