social control refers to the various means used by society to bring its unruly members into line. Further social control is divided into formal and informal social control.
Anomie in sociology means lack of normal ethical or social behaviour.
Alienation refers to the isolation of individual or group from the society.
you would study about these terms in sociology in great detail. I have defined them superficially.
