Default guidance needed for SOCIOLOGY

I have chosen Sociology as one of my optional subjects. I want to know how many days are needed to cover this subject??? A senior once told me it needed only 7 days or so. But i have found the syllabus too vast for that. I think 7 days are sufficient only to prepare the social thinkers( theorists) alone.

Secondly, from which book should i prepare the "social thinkers"?

I don't understand how people manage to prepare sociology in 7-10 days. The 'social thinkers' portion is so extensive, each theorist is so lengthy to deal with, with so many theories of each. can anyone guide me on how to prepare sociology in 7 to 10 days( including the theorists)???

Dear it depends on how fast you can grasp the theme. 15 days are enough for preparation.Concentrate on socila scientists more.Prepare social problems of pakistan ,and try to elobrate every topic with the help of sociodiagram. It is a better scoring tactic.Sociodiagram is an intelligent work of your own mind. You can consult ABDULHAMEED TAGA's book for this purpose.

Wink yes you can...

MR HORIZONS

You can prepare the subject in 7days your senior is right. But he means only the study for the paper. if you wanna prepare for the sake of you general information then it will take you two years to do yr MSC Sociology. at the moment its about yor css so take the book of Afshan Manzoor, 'Twenty Questions in Sociology, CSS series', i'm sure yo wil prepare the 20 Qs in just 5days which covers a lot of stuff about the subject. About the social problems, you must read newpapers articles for what are our social problems and how to deal with them. if your are in peshawr, take Dr Anwar Alam's book Social problems, its more than enought..

if ever any prob, feel free to ask this humanist, i'm sure i'l be always at yor disposal..
goog luck for ur preparation. be hard in the mind and soft in the soul. take ppl's prayers by serving them, thats how you can become not only a csp officer, but also the one acceptable to yor God..

keep me in ur prayers..

Regards,
Amjad Nasser
