i have recently start the preparation of CSs and choose an optional Socialogy...
i am a commerce student and i have not read this subject before css.

so please any one can provide me socialogy complete note...

Brother, it's SOCIOLOGY please, not Socialogy! (and I know it was not a typo, that's why pointed out, hope you won't mind ).

If you are reading this subject for the first time, first of all, get yourself the dvds of this subject by Virtual University. Well, these lectures in the dvds do not cover the complete syllabus of css sociology, but it can be of a great help to those students who have not studied this subject before.

And after that, get these books:
1. Sociology by Horton and Hunt
2. Any good book of sociology by Pakistani writer.
3. If you can, grab a book by an Indian author, (I have forgotten his name), the book is titled, "Sociology".

Get additional notes from the internet.

For the MCQ part, the book by Horton and Hunt is sufficient, for this you have to read the terminologies given at the end of each chapter.

And also keep in mind, you don't have to study the whole book, just 60% of it...but if you have enough time, it is always good to study your subject completely.
