Help need in Sociology

Dear All,

please guide me

1) Is the Sociology Book by Horton and Hunt enough to get more than 70 % marks?

2) How much preparation time does it take to go through the imp / main topics?

3) @ Any one have experience with Muslim Law and Soc
, if we compare Muslim Law with Sciology which one is much scoring or will take less time for preparation?

Regards

Help needed in Sociology

Salam,
Dear do not go for the whole book of Horton and Hunt. i would suggest Sociology by Javed Jiskani, its very short, compact and enough for css paper. develop your unerstanding of the issues.

Helped??

Marks depend on a number of factors

1-Your knowledge
2-Style of the question paper
3-Examiner's inclinations for that year
4-Destiny...
and so much more

so dont think that going through a particular book would give you 70% or more marks ,be a bit more analytical in your approach and hope for the best.

Horton and hunt is a good book but last year there was a question in sociology paper

How are you different or similar to your parents?Elucidate

Now to attempt it you got to have an understanding of sociology as a subject and you may not find such answers in any book

I think I have written a bit too much but this one just goes out to all people who are eager to know "will they get 70% marks studyin a particular book"
the answer is
YOu may and you may not

"do smart work instead of hardwork" though hardwork is necessary too

What was your score in Sociology?
Please share your smart work strategy for this subject.

Briefly this is what I mean

Score was 60 plus ,i dont remeber exaclty :angle

I read one book by a foreign author Name Olbrich I think, but quoted examples relevant to our society,

for example month of Ramzan has a certain norms and mores attached to it which is something prevalent in our culture and no gora author would give an example of this sort

(wesay Ramzan is around the corner :)) so Happy Ramadan to all readers :pipe
