please help me out to find some e-material on sociological research and social problems of pakistan.

can you put some suggestion for social problems of pakistan too.

I have a book on social problems, written by a pakistani writer, but it hardly touches the current issues.

Wikipedia is always handy in difficult times.
For gathering comprehensive data for each social issue like poverty ,corruption ,education etc.,search individually on Yahoo;because I find its search results more concise than Google.

Crimes
Gender Discrimination
Ethnicity
Sectarianism
Over Population
Injustice
Illiteracy
Drug abuse

Well, if you ask me, i think the following three are the root cause of all other problems.

Illeteracy
Population pressure
Unemployment

For example, drug-use and crime can be linked to unemployment and religious extermism and gender descrimination may be due to illeteracy, similary, the poverty and lack of social services can be traced due to over-population.
Infact, the problems u mentioned are inter-linked and need an holistic view to understand them.
