exactly the same book...
n my short notes are usually very short, they are based on just main points that come under one specific topic/chapter.
one important thing, while preparing, plz keep in mind the questions u see in past papers and try to make an outline for that. it would really be a result oriented practice for u in ur actual exams.

look, everybody have his/her own unique style of studying.
i did selective study but whatever i covered, i did not leave any point missing under that topic.
in ur case, i think u r a better judge about what to select and what to not...
