two books in one go and there you are;

Sociology- Taga Brothers in black cover.

Sociology- J.J.Balouch

(both of these books are specially composed for CSS aspirants adn are just great)

But if you want to go for even deepr study, Horton & Hunt is always there for deep study but beware! it may take your whole time reading it,as its very interesting to read:)

well i guess you should go for Horton and hunt first for concept clarity and then go for Tagga's book.

@Masroor Ali Soomro: books recommended by Xaraa and Madu are good but I suggest you to go through sociology by J.J Baloch coz its totally about outline and according to paper requirement. after this go to even Horton or Tagga.
