Are the traditional books still enough for preparation

my question is from all seniors especially those who appeared in CE 2012 that after looking at 2012 paper of sociology still u people think that Taga and J.J baloch and Hort and HUNT are enough for preparation???
as i think this year paper was quite conceptual.so should i continue preparing from these or consult some other 1? if so then which book can help me further keeping in mind that such kind of paper pattern can continue in future.......

dear there is no book which is written and published taking css in consideration . You yourself mentioned paper was conceptual so tagga gave you all concepts mow its up to you how you will answer that with the concepts you had from any book .
books are written for concepts and it is up to you how you handle that data in answering :)
and no book is going to be sufficient if you want exact answers , thats why css is lot more analytical examination then the cramming one :) stay blessed

After having the experience of CE2012, i would not say that the recommended books have lost their worth. they are as important as before, but only change is that the questions being asked in the paper rest on the analytical reasoning but the basic concepts can not be changed. I sum, one must answer the question analytically while keeping the basic terms of that particular topic in mind. No wonder, net surfing + News paper for the current development in the society is the key. Regards
