Isn't it good that most of the topics are interrelated?
You can demonstrate your knowledge and command on the subject by presenting a topic in all related dimensions. However, your focus on the original question shouldn't be compromised in the process. Google some social topics and see how the writers cover them to get a better idea. They remain specific yet throw light on all interrelated areas as well. Hope it helps.
