Preparation for Sociology 2008

Would anybody please tell me the difference between Interactionist Perspective and Evolutionary Perspective?
I have come across with two different approaches regarding these terms. According to one of the authors, interactionist and evolutionary perspective are the same; while according to other they are two different perspectives.

Please....

Evolutionary vs interactional

Thnx for ur query.

In simple words.

Evolutionry Perspective focusses its stress on the study of similarities that exists & existed among various civilisations and the origion of socities.

Interactional Perspective relies on studying the ways people, as individuals and while in groups, interact and communicate with eachother.

Discussions and queries are ever welcomed.
