business administration: to choose or not to choose??
Hi there all seniors !! i am confused about electing business administration as optional. i have background of the subject but i want to know if it is scoring enough?
Scoring is relative to every years exams i know but whats the general trend for marks? can one get smthing around 70+ with good prep or not. Also how is the scoring trend if compared with "Journalism" ??

Business administration is high scoring and an excellent subject. People have been getting 60 plus marks with just 2-3 days preparation. If you have the background and preparation is solid then scoring 70 plus is no issue.

well if you have background of this subject and have gone through its syllabus, then rest assured, it yields good marks provided you have done BBA or MBA...as Business ad is not one subject rather it is composition of three i-e management, Marketing and Financial Management...

@flodiyan and others
How will you compare it with Public Administration and IR? Is it more scoring.
Also, I have taken some intro level courses in my graduation (IT) regarding Managment, Marketing, Financial Managment. Now ofcourse i have forgetton many things. Should i go for it or go for more traditional choices like Psychology?

@bilal hassan: i dont understand why you're so much against candidates opting for business admin. in my personal opinion the course is not more lengthy than other 100 marks subject for eg US history is way lengthier than bs admin. One has to cover three sections but there is ample choice in the paper (out has to attempt 4qs out of 9qs) and financial section generally contains theory based questions. if prepared well one can easily score well. i have studied both accounting and business studies in A levels but im a non MBA. it totally depends on one's interest and aptitude for the subject. the key to success is detailed study, good egs from the internet and thorough study of the past papers.

Natasha Sis actually for non MBA's this subject is difficult, all of these 3 subjects have synergistic effect so non MBA can entangle in complexities of that subject..
I have scored 74 in CE 2012, it is a scoring one provided you have background...

If you have background in it then you should most definitely opt for this
I scored 62, 78, 72 in my three attempts of 2010,2011,2012 and trust me every time i only studied it for 3-4 days.
