Default need help in making short bullet notes

Whenever i try to make short bullet notes i face a confusion that every line is important.
Revising the whole topic daily or weekly is very time consuming sometimes i lose interest for revision and try not to revise the long topics please help , how to make short bullet notes? And how to know which line is more important.

In bullets write an image building word. It will help you to recall your whole important paragraph or line.

Sultan Iltutmish:
Iltutmish ascended the throne of delhi in 1211.He belonged to the renowed Ilbari tribe in Turkistan. His intelligence sagacity and handsome appearance excited the jealousy of his brothers who sold him into slavery in infancy.Iltutmidh recieved his education and training in the cultured family of the chief juatice of Bokhara. He was first purchased by one jamaludin who brought him to ghazni, when qutbuddin the viceroy of delhi bought him at high price. The viceroy was so much pleased with his loyalty and capability that he soon made him the governor of badaun abd gave his own daughter in marriage to him.Iltutmish had helped sultan muhammad ghuri in quelling the rebellion of the turbulent khokhar tribe of punjab and in recoginition of his service he was manumitted by his master at the sultan's order.
On his accession to the throne, iltutmish found himself confronted with innumerable dangers and difficulties.he had to fight against tajudin yulduz, the ruler of ghazni and nasir ud din qubacha of sind, who were asserting their independence. Ali bin mardan khalji the governor of bengal had thrown off his allegiance to delhi after the death of Qutbuddin aibak. Besides, the hindu princes and chiefs were seething with discontent at their loss of independence. To add these troubles some of the qutbi amiss expressed their resentment against the rule of iltutmish. But the sultan was not the man to fail or falter in the face of these difficulties. He devoted himself to the task of establishing his authority in right earnest and with firm detrmination.

Make notes as per your own learning skills and habits. Working your own way will serve you the best. For some its more inviting to make bullet point notes; some prefer making detailed notes; some go on highlighting lines and points on books; some prefer skimming through pages. All depends upon you and the material and time available to you. It depends upon reference material too. If you are following a single book, highlighting can do good. If you use variety of resources you will definitely need a compilation of all reference material at one place in bullet points for later revisions. Be sure whatever way you choose to make notes that it must be easier to skim through in 2-4 hours. You will not get enough time for revision during exams.
You can add additional points on the book (in case you consult a single book ). It depends upon subject too. But do plan it beforehand while you keep on reading how you intend to retain and recall important things without loosing much time again.
