KIPS VS World Times Academy Notes

I have to buy notes for a few subjects but I don't know which academy is good in that regard. Can anyone tell which academy's notes are of high quality?

The notes of World Times Academy are better... but don't rely completely on them, prepare your own notes by the help of other recommended books and internet sources.

Depend upon subject as well. JWT has excellent notes on some subjects but on some other subjects they are not good. Same is the case with KIPS. I have come across some notes of KIPS academy last year like IR. They were excellent and better than all the books available in the market. Also Kips has many branches and notes vary from branch to branch and even to teacher to teacher as well.

Before making your final decision about notes go to the book shop and Check contents and material of these books by reviewing few topics if you can. Than check notes the same way. Buy which ever you think the best. It depends upon student as well. Some can only study from notes. Some can absorb only from local books while some try to prepare from books of foreign authors.

As far as the notes are concerned, I have been in touch with many CSP's for almost past five years for guidance. They discourage using notes of others and academies. They recommend to read 1-3 recommended books by FPSC. Many also advise to make notes and of two kinds.

1- Comprehensive ones (Which has all the relevant material related to the subject)
2- Short notes in bullets (Handy to revise during exams)

Do not buy books or notes blindly on recommendation of everyone. Its better to check them yourself before buying them.

My friend joined KIPS last year for preparation. She got notes for me from there which she thought were better than books. I have seen JWT notes which one of my friends have and I did not like them as much as I liked KIPS'.

@Anum Zara: Thank you so much for replying. Actually, I have planned to do preparation from the books for every subject and love to read from different sources whether they be books, internet, notes etc. but, I just want to have the notes because they are prepared by keeping in view the syllabus and everything being compiled is at one place and reader may find it easy to go through the notes when there is less time. But, I would first prepare from the books to have a sound understanding of the subject along with skimming through the notes and then when it comes to revision I'd bring them out and save my time. However, I am not good at my making my own notes but if needed, I'd make them in the form of bullets because making comprehensive notes seems like a daunting task to me.

Can I contact on your email address in case of any help needed from you?

Yeah sure.
Well let me tell you one thing about notes. The ones I have came across are as comprehensive as books. Also books of JWT and some other publishers are also according to new syllabus and compiled at one place. You just need to decide which one you are going to use in preparation like I am preparing not from single source. I have bought some books of JWT, some from Carvan, some books of foreign authors and for some subjects I am using notes. You need to read a lot for CSS at least 2-3 book or notes sources. Notes are just like books of academies just written by different authors. Some are good and some are not. You need to decide for each subject.

One more thing you have ample time 8.5 months. These are more than enough to crack CSS if you decide your subjects and sources you are going to use for study on time.

If you cannot make comprehensive notes, it is totally okay but do make notes in bullet forms. Trust me they will come handy in exams.
