Title: The Rise of Middle Class In Early times, people of middle class were totally alienated from the rest of culture. They were not considered as the part of society except few who were in the professions such as Army and those who had strong family background. They were not allowed to mingle with other elites of their town but these people with the high self esteem made their own civilization and started giving due respect to everyone. With this, they came across several positive changes in their people. They valued their beliefs of goodness and created a mark for others to follow. They prohibited disgraceful behavior and preferred simplicity in life. |

Views of Besant on Middle Class. Besant described the exclusion of middle class of 9th century from the social circle of elites. Unlike men of military, banking profession and aristocracy, they were not invited to intermingle with the gentry by upper class therefore, they stood apart in their distinct place. Furthermore, increase in their population and resultant influence has affected their lives positively as their self-realization increased, and they became more concerned for the poor unlike the upper class. Moreover, they set an ideal model of morality, the traits they possessed helped gain them respect from everybody |

Precis
Seniors, please check out this Precis and let me know how to improve.
In the 9th century, those who were in the Army or Navy or had their birthright or had any family acquaintanceship could only be a part of the society and none other. Without invitation, if the latter would go somewhere, they would be discouraged. The middle class established their own society as their number and influence boosted. Moreover, they showed respect for poor societies. Odd behaviours and atheism were discouraged. |
