Poetry is teh highest form of expression - the greatest proof is the Holy Quran.

seems quite confusing dont u think, because i read somewhere that Holy Quran is not a form of poetry, there was a hadees or some waqaya regarding this. If some one could varify that then this topic would totally take a new direction.

As for most of the other topics, dear aspirants dont think that if they look easy then they are easy, writing 3 4 pages might be easy on such topics, but writing a 15 to 20 page CSS standard essay on such topics is a whole new ball game. you just cannot comeup with so much stuff about them in the heat of the battle (during the paper)

ironically, it is stated in the Holy Quran itself
the rough interpretation of the ayah that my limited knowledge allows, is an address to the Prophet(pbuh) consoling him for the pain caused by the mushraikeen who failed to grasp the eternal truth in his message and called him a poet (as in someone taken a hostage by his fanciful imagination). the quran tells the prophet that this is not a poets version of accounts. it is the Divine Revelation!

One can always be charmed by the harmony and flow of the Message accompanied by the beauty of the language used, however to call it poetry seems to pose a threat to the acknowledgement of the logical aspect of the Message.
wonder what the examiner might be thinking....!
