can any body tell me plz what was the answer of Q.3 about marraige rights?
Q.3 A Muslim marriage is a civil contract. Do you think that the contracting parties have equal rights in rescinding a marriage contract? Give rationale.

well marriage is acivil contract becoz it creats some rights and liabilities betwen the parties.....

to finish the contract of marriage is the previlged right of the male. he can finish it by pronouncing talaq without assignening any cause. female has no right of talaq.

female can also finish the contract through other ways like khula and mubaraat and most importantly DMMA 1939 the dissolution of muslim marriage act through which the female can ask for divorce through court.

nine differnt ways are avilble to the female to ask the curt for divrce. these are
Abscence of husband.... mafqood ul khabar for 4 years.

improsnment of husband for 7 years.

unable to prvide metananece to wife.

impotency

lunacy

veneral disease etc.
