So the war has begun in exam halls !
Although i am not an expert in this field, but i liked the essay of Hunain after reviewing all in this thread.
Seems no canidate mentioned the recently passed law of women protection, while describing the govt's efforts for the equal status of women in socety.
Anyway, wish u all best of luck, keep the spirit high !

Question Please advice....

09. Religion has done more harm than help to human relations in the world.

This was the essay I attenpted.

I won't reproduce the outline, its just the same like others who attempted this.

I tried to use all Argumentation, (by presenting anti-theses and arguing on questions that may appear in my readers' mind), Description, Narration, (How terrorists misuse the concepts of Religion; narration of a suicide bomber turned with the aid of religion) Exposition and Definition (A bit about how Religion is defined).

A plus, I didn't put emphasis only on inter-religious intolerance but also discussed intera-religious intolerance (sectarian conflicts Shiits vs Sunnis, Protestants vs Catholicss, Attack of Spain on England, destruction os Spanish Armada).

I, however, didn't blame religions but the misuse of Religions, exploitation of Religions. I did mention what all religions order about human relations; peace and harmony, and how the followers misuse it. I didn't want to look an atheist

I discussed Crusades, as a special case. I put lot of emphasis on present day world's problem; terrorism in this context. I discussed how in the name of Allah they slaughter their fellow Muslims in Swat-Malakand. ........

A problem: I have also reproduced 8 lines of poetry (of my own from a poem which I published on-net last year during op. Rah-e-Rast indicating the complain of an IDP that how those terrorists misused religion.)

MY QUERY, IS MY INCLUDING POETRY ALLOWED. RESPONCE FROM ALL PLEASE.

@ New_Candidate

Fantastic. Looks like you really gave it your best.

I personally believe that this essay topic was the best and the most marks securing. Good luck in the rest of the exams.

@ Bilal Zamir,

But One thing, I went for quality rather quantity Because Many CSP advised me to go for Quality rather Quantity and I did the same, I saw candidates besides me, they started paper early and left the examination hall before 30-40 minutes and wrote around 15-18 pages. but now i am confused, because i have just written 13 Pages including Outline. What do you think, According to my facts, Are 12 pages enough to pass the paper?

Default @jahanzaib khan

work hard on mcqs and true false type questions...remember they fetch the maximum marks...go through all the acronyms...in the paper write very short, to the point answers...and never forget to add diagrams whereever they could....never go for paper filling techniques...if its two marks question, it means they want two points only....remember two points....not two pages....

Example for clarification:

- What is photosynthesis?(1)
if it is a one mark question, the answer would be: "Photosynthesis is a process whereby light energy is converted into chemical energy in the chloroplasts (leaves) of the plant"

however if it were a two marks question, then the answer would be different:

"Photosynthesis is a process whereby light energy is converted into chemical energy in the chloroplasts (containing chlorophyll) in the leaves of the plants. The process uses up Sunlight and Carbondioxide and produces oxygen and glucose" You may write the equation here or draw up a diagram..!!!

you can ask for more clarification

I wrote on equality of men and women and pakistan, wrote 16 pages and am reproducing my outline here, kindly comment on it as I don't feel satisfied with it.

Intro:

Women constitute almost 50% of world's popoulation
Women are participating in every field of life with men

Status of women in Islam:

Western misperception that Islam believes in oppression of women
Islam believes in equality of both men and women and the rights that Islam gave to women 1400 years back are being given to women now.
Women worked as traders and fought alongside men in wars

Status of women in Pakistan:

Male dominated society and women are treated as a property
Sold like animals in markets, not allowed to go out side of homes and their main duty is to reproduce and take care of their families
Not allowed to marry the person of their choice and in case they do,they are killed and their bodies are thrown away,
Contrary to Islamic teachings and has more to do with our tradition.

Role in development of Pakistan:

Tide is slowly in their favour now.
Participating in all fields of life alongwith men
Women are more hard working and taking distinctions in educations
Women in operational branches of armed forces
Women in Parliament,Dr.Fehmida Mirza as first women speaker of the National assembly.Their role in legislation
Women in Economic sphere,Dr.Shamshad Ahmed as first Governer of State bank

Role of Government:
Women Empowerment bill
Women Protection Bill
Benazir Income Support Program
Increased stress on female education

Conclusion:

Women are in no way inferior to men and both are working together to make Pakistan a better country.
