@ Miss Naqvi

Dear Madam.I appreciate your efforts in guiding the students. You didn't reply my post in which i enquired whether you have ever appeared in CSS?

If you didn't,you can never understand what stress a candidate feels during the exam. And if you appeared, qualified or failed then please share your story.

In CSS it is almost impossible to accurately attempt all the essays. You cannot claim to be an authority on essays. There is always some digression.

Kindly spare some time and provide us with your specimen.I wrote on "Dialogue is the best course to combat terrorism".If i be asked to write it again,my new attempt will be entirely different.

I wrote an essay on "the present system of education should shoulder some of the failures of our system".I got it checked from Prof.Manzoor Mirza. He gave his valuable suggestions.Afterwards,he wrote that essay and told me that he had written it to clarify that topic to candidates.CSS essay can never be spot on.Moreover, the topics reduce your freedom to somersault in different directions.

i hope to hear you worth suggestions soon.

Regards,

Help

Thanks for your appreciation. Yes I appeared only once in 2006.

I am well aware of the nerve breaking stress a candidate come across when has to appear for 10 papers in just 5 days.

You are newbie so may not knowing me. My story is written in the posts of 2006 you and can check it out from my profile. I hope it will give you clear picture of mine.

Even I am not claiming to be an authority on essay but I know I am good in analysing it. I comment on the outlines and essays in the light of my experience and exposure.

I have already shared the outline so you can go through it. If you asking for essay then you have to wait. As I am already occupied with my commitments so it would be hard to manage 3 to 4 hours in a day. Essay writing is never enjoyable if not in 1 sitting. Rest assure I will share one with you.

You are 100% right. Its easy to analyse essay outside the examination hall but its very hard to manage it in the examination hall. You still can make a difference by practice.... practice.... more practice and more and more practice. Every time choose essay topic from past CSS papers collect relevant material and read it twice. Then jot down important points. Now draw outline and start your essay. Now find a teacher to check your work. If you will practice 15 essays this way I am 100% sure next CSS is yours.

If something left you can ask anytime.

@ Saad

Your outline is really good and comprehensive. If your written expression is good and flawless Inshahallah your score will be good.

@ Miss Naqvi

Thank you madam.I am highly indebted to you for the detailed reply. You are dead right.

CSS is really a tough job.Well,i dare say that you should have utilised your talent and taken another chance.Nevertheless, you are doing a splendid job.The only objection is that people normally lend ear to the suggestions of qualified officials. Our society is impressionistic in nature. The psychological aspect is always given more weightage.but i had no intentions to belittle your sincere efforts.

Thank you again.

Yes its very good suggestion and I came across the same many a time. There were some personal reasons for being occupied afterwards. Then I got the job as Vice Principal through FPSC and now more than satisfied with my current job.

Well Mr. Help I think very few would have objection if they know me. I have already told you that being newbie you know me a little. For your information I am MSc Applied Psychology, MA TEFL (Teaching English as Foreign Language), Advanced Diploma in English Language and Literature from NUML and had got first position and some professional qualification relevant to educational field. I hope in the light of these you would find me able to give suggestions. Apart that some of my articles has been published in Dawn Education Pages. My English poem "Faith" is the part of English for Class 6th published by NCE. And above all my husband has appeared in CSS this time. I hope after all these I may get an impression in your mind.

Actually I am the one who believe on talent. I know it always make its way even under worst circumstances. For your satisfaction I would say there are many teachers who remained examiners for CSS but they were never Civil Servants. I mean the destiny of a CSP is determined by a Non-CSP so you cannot deny the worth of a teacher (a learned person) having no impressionistic image as per your say.

Even you should not.
