Title : Reasons of psychological discontent

Precise: There are numerous reasons of psychological discontent. Some people are despondent because they have been destitute in their early life and now they emphasize on only one side of the life. Recent studies states that some people indulge themselves into drugs to cease the feelings of sorrow and the life itself has no attraction for them. There is a need to awake the desire for joy in such people. With a few exceptions mostly people want to be happy. Some people opt the feeling of discontentment as the only sane option as they had enjoyed the passions of life in their youth and now they only proud of their achievements. This behavior misguides the naive people.

This is the precis of dawn editorial titled (sound and fury)

Title: Deweaponisation: a political drama
precis:
Whatever has been talked about deweaponisation recently in Pakistani Parliament is nothing but a political farce. All political parties are trying to divert the focus from the core issue of security for their own political gains. Even the ruling party appears to have no say in the matter, and it is just striving to protect its government. Nothing has been talked about practical hurdles in executing deweaponisation in the country. In Karachi, military services are not being hired as it would be considered a political failure. Notwithstanding the political rhetoric, the issue of deweaponisation in Karachi would suffer the same fate as has been endured by many other leading problems. Instead of just appearing to be concerned about people's security, the political setup must undertake concrete steps to undertake this fiasco.

plz check out this not only for the purpose of precis but also give me feedback about the language of the paragraph.
thanks

Please consult the concerned clerk.
You have got too short time for that.
Not only was he a thief, but also a murderer.
They thought that the plan would succeed.
It is unlikely he wins the race.
My uncle told me something about it yesterday.
I hoped that by the time i got there it would have stopped raining.
They prevented the driver from stopping.

Note:I am not sure about 1,2 and 8.But i guess this is the correction.
