FPSC asks 2500 to 3500 words for 100 marks, so one should try to write at-least 1800 words to elaborate the topic. Yet there is no defined criteria for marking though it is asked by FPSC: "Make sure you use different forms of discourse e.g. exposition, argumentation, description and narration. Credit will be given for organization, relevance and clarity". There is no division of marks between outlines and essay. It depends upon examiner how he handles the paper some may be fascinated by outlines other may lay emphasis on arguments, all what we can do is to give our best in both areas.
