Paper 2 was very tough, no doubt... it felt a bit surreal to be writing about Utilitarianism and John Stuart Mill in a British History paper instead of Churchill, Gladstone, Thatcher or others... a real freak of a paper.

tanveersaeed Monday, March 04, 2013 02:28 AM

paper 2 was very difficult indeed.infact I was hearing the names for first time of the short notes which came. I prepared from pc thomas and lowe. I couldn't find anywhere those short notes. question regarding European union and queen Anne's foreign conquest looked allien questions to to me. well that paper disappointed a lot.

Ahmed B Monday, March 04, 2013 01:41 PM

And as far as I've been able to search, there was no 'Mandake' system or 'Status of Westminsk'... either they deliberately gave wrong questions (and hence automatic 'none of these' as answer) or they misspelled the words somehow... Utilitarianism and Stuart Mill belong in Philosophy but sure, if one comes to stretching things connection may be made with British History somehow... and the 'response of British Royal House' lol... all in all Mr. Khattak Sahib, who so champions the paper as easy ought to share more information as to what was easy about paper 2.

First home rule bill was passed by gladstone but it failed n that too in 1886.

And regarding the peace treaties i think the question itself is flawed. Where it was signed n with whom.. It should hav been mentioned. Versailles with germans. St.Germain with Austria. Trianon with Hungary, Neuilly with Bulgars. Serves and Lausanne with Turks. Atleast they shud have mentioned with whom n where. The question is defective.

dear you are right, but i think it was presented in 1886 by gladstone but it was rejected so how could it be passed and it was presented again 1893 but again rejected and then finally in 1912... regards.
