well i knew that and also read that book if it was a current affair question, then Pak-US relation would be relevant but building the whole essay on this theme is totally futile.

Topics of Essay and Current Affairs overlap and this isn't the first time really. Energy Crisis is a topic which has appeared as an Essay as well as 20 marks question in Current Affairs. There are many other examples too which coincide with the topics of both papers for instance Terrorism, Economic Problems, Corruption, UN's role and status etc.

It all depends on how you squeeze information in a CA question and how you elaborate and cover every aspect in a full length essay.

Default Friends Not Masters

I think we should relate this essay with Pak-US relationship,Pak-Saudia relations,Dismembermant of East Pakistan,Insurgency movements in various parts of our country(Balochistan Crisis etc),Israel-Palestenian conflict,Indian occupation of Kashmir,American invasion on Iraq.Further,we could dicuss the policy of British Raj etc.We can also suggest negative effects of such policy. These effects can be terrorism, extremism and militancy, breach of national sovereignty,inter-provincial tensions, absence of democracy etc.

well all of respected members are arguing on FRIENDS NOT MASTERS.....it is evident from the statement that one can clearly idealize the Pak Us relation to be mentioned,it is worth mentioning and excellent exapmle to quote but one should also give daily life exapmles to prove in favour of this statement.I agree 70 % of the essay should be based on Pak Us relation because the examiner seems to have a similar mindset behind this and one more important thing EXAMINER WANTS TO CHECK YOUR ENGLISH ,THIS IS NOT CURRENT AFFAIRS PAPER AND PAPER CHECKER IS NOT A CURRENT AFFAIR OR HISTORY TEACHER SO WHO HAS ELABORATED HIS STANCE IN A LOGICAL AND EFFECTIVE MANNER WILL SUCCCEED.BEST OF LUCK TO THOSE WHO HAVE GIVEN FAISALABAD EXAM

Nopes. It is totally legit to base your essay on Pak-US relations. If you see magazine posts, you will often find that foreign policy or other single issue articles have such titles.

Sir, no arguments with u or whatsoever but i want to quote on your given statement that 'Examiner wants to check your english, this is not current affairs etc etc.. sir essay is totally a mixture of all the papers u attempt, if you are un-intentionally vague about the topic given, u will probably get a zero (WHICH STUDENTS GET) when they are not clear about it, now whether they write (Musharraf's type of English or Shakespere).
