Both r correct but the chances of First one being correct are more high .

instead of gerund if we place infinitive in he is abusing the money of his father is not making sense

i will be appearing in the exams next year.....i'm just guessing

what about he is abusing the money of his father?

misusing?

misuse is something when we do some thing illegally i guess ,
S.H.O is misusing his powers ...
Money is always use in the sense of ( fazool karachi ) , so here the sentence is giving the sense of quander ( urana , fazool karchi karna , ) .therefore word mis use will not be the good option the better option will be to quander

the paper was easy but the preci was tough to precise it.....because of lucid language and ideas...!and the idioms......rest of the paper was superb
