I got 61 in sociology last time. I won't recommend it now. It's going to be butchered

now a days examinor wants those aspirents who have the general perception with argumentative style...all the paperz showed that if some body did a work to mould his ideas with the relevent example than he can score marks other wiseee

well i suggest you to go through recent papers. check your potential either you can solve such questions or not? then decide accordingly

Paper was too difficult. I don't agree with some of the above comments because my point of view is a little bit different.

Well today's paper of sociology didn't require mere study of syllabus but only those might have found this paper easily who has studied the subject and also developed a general observation by analysing and implementing those studies in the general surrounding environment and pointed out the issues of our society along with a close view of problem and their solutions.

Simply it was an implementation of sociology syllabus in our society and how they both are in accord with each other.

As far as the word bourgeoning is concerned, I think its quite familiar to those who have read and memorized GRE or SAT words list.

well it is not so bad paper 4 questions were easily attempted but yeah the abominable side is that the paper was not from within the prescribed syllabus it was just too general but the good side is that FPSC is trying to discourage over cramming which was utmost requirement.

So, you mean one should set paper as per sociological terminology. english is a language dear. one can use it in any subject. be it socio or journalism.
dnt complicate the question. it simply means ever increasing role of social media!!

But it was a paper of sociology not of English where one ought to know synonyms and antonyms. Next year the examiner may start asking about IDIOMS since they also relate to the culture and society and to our beloved English. Come on man

And through out the paper i was trying how to make it look like a Sociology paper, it was a great one though for those who create their own stuff during the paper... (in a positive sense )
