Q.NO. 02 What is misconduct? What remedy is open to the litigating party against whom an appointed arbitrator or umpire commits misconduct? Discuss.

Q.NO. 03 What are qualifications, powers and liabilities of director of public limited company? In what circumstances his office falls vacant?

Q.NO. 04 What are rules of evidence relating to negotiable instrument?

Q.NO. 05 When does communication of proposal, acceptance and revocation become complete? How revocation is made?

Q.NO. 06 What is legal status of a contract entered into by a minor ? Is is enforceable by law? If so, under what circumstances?

Q.NO. 07 What do you mean by implied authority of partner? Discuss liability of firm for partner's act?

Q.NO. 08 " A seller cannot convey a better title than he himself has". Are there any exceptions to this rule? Discuss.

Objective part was quite tricky. I think my 10 objective would be right. For subjective par, I attempted last four question. My answers to the question No. 5,6,7 were quite good. However, I could not give my best in Q.8 due to shortage of time. I am expecting around 60 marks.

Please suggest a good book for mercantile law. And also give your opinion, whether this pattern of questions will come in the CE-2015? thanks.

Mercantile law book ( I think author is cheema) for B.Com can cover 70% topics. Rest of the topics may be covered from Internet. It is very hard to say that pattern will remain the same. However, Personally, I think pattern will not change at least for upcoming 1 or 2 years.

Book for Mercantile law
 

One must read Shukla'z Mercantile law, 90 percent paper will be covered by it. Books written by Pakistani authors are not enough for CSS paper bcs local books are not thorough and comprehensive. Shukla'z Mercantile law and mcqs of Companies ordinance are more than enough for the paper.
