SECTION – A (QANUN-E-SHAHADAT ORDER, 1984)

“An accomplice is unworthy of credit unless corroborated in material evidence”.
Comment. Support your answer by quoting relevant provision of law.

Write a note on duties of court in disallowing certain questions during cross- examination.

Q.No.4.
Write short NOTES on the following:

SECTION –B (CRIMINAL PROCEDURE CODE, 1898)

Q.No.5.
How would you distinguish between discharge and acquittal of an accused?

Q.No.6.
What procedure is adopted by a court of session in the trial of a criminal case?

Q.No.7.
Evidence is to be taken in presence of accused. Is there any exception to this general principle? Discuss with reference to relevant provisions of law.

SECTION –C (PAKISTAN PENAL CODE, 1860)

Q.No.8.
Determine the relationship of Pakistan Penal Code with the Criminal Procedure Code and Qanun-e-Shahadat Order.

Q.No.9.
When does the right of private defence of the body and of property extend to the causing of death of the assailant? Under what circumstances in the exercise of this right, risk of harm to an innocent person is condoned?

Differentiate between offences of misappropriation, theft and cheating.
