Cape Cod is a proper noun, and both words should be capitalized is right.
Please don't scare her! Something that has gone wrong for one candidate doesn't actually go the same way for others. No two persons can have same marks for somewhat similar outlines. similarly the fate of two essays can't be all the same. It wasnt a good idea to point out a mistake in her outline this way I believe. Now Madiha will be in a state of worry for all these 6 months.

Madiha! keep praying and have faith. Try to improve all this time for your next attempt while praying for this one. Good luck :)
This forum is actually a platform to guide the aspirants. If some one shares the knowledge on the basis of one's hands on experience, then declaring it as scary post is unfair. No one have enough time to get login in this forum and post to just scare others. Furthermore, it was not merely the matter of similar outlines, it was the idea and theme of that specific essay which had beguiled me in my previous attempt and now it is my duty to let the others know about misconception. As far as her state of worry in upcoming months is concerned, in my opinion the space of improvement is always there. So its better to be in learning stage rather than to be in delusion. About the fate of similar essays in css , i do agree with your point of view and i had already wished her good luck. Who knows!her learning in next months may elevate her from Foreign services (my wish for her for this attempt) to PAS in her upcoming attempt.

Sentence correction

Sentence no 5: We took a tent, a cooler, and a sleeping bag.

This bothered me and my teacher. Sentence itself is correct unless we consider serial comma aka oxford comma. In US it is ok but in British English it is discouraged and the serial comma is only permissible for clarity sake. So we both are wondering about the style guide of CSS. Has anyone any info over it?

Good luck everyone who appeared in 2016. Overall papers are quite well-balanced if we overlook few things.

Could you provide me link.
Because, I believe that sentence has irregular parallelism.I.e. each object is in simple form without any gerud;while, that of sleeping is creating non-parallelism.
So my suggested correction is
We took a tent, a cooler, and a bag.
Sentence structure
(Subject+intense verb+ object)
Here all objects must be in same condition not object1=object2=object 3
While in case of sleeping bag, state of equilibrium is disturbed.
P.S.That's my own recommendation, you may have your own.

Here:

"most British style guides discourage use of the serial comma unless the items in the series would be confusing without it."

http://grammar.about.com/od/rs/g/serialcommaterm.htm

http://www.grammarly.com/handbook/punctuation/comma/36/oxford-comma/

http://grammar.wikia.com/wiki/Oxford_comma

What you are suggesting is something completely different. I'll forward his to my teacher but the thing is sleeping bag is a specific type of bag. Replacing it with just a bag won't be a plausible solution because then it can be any bag.

When should we use oxford comma,
http://www.grammarly.com/blog/2015/what-is-the-oxford-comma-and-why-do-people-care-so-much-about-it/

This explains when it will be necessary to absolutely use oxford comma.

See this is why we are fretting over style guide. It can be quite confusing.

Do you know I also follow APA style of wring:here problem is not comma, because bag, tent and cooler might be of same thing.it has sentence parallelism problem
Let's have a look on this

I see. Yes I understand you. It just doesn't feel right to me. But I know that is not a valid counter-argument so I'd forward it to her. Let's see what she says about it.
Thank you so much Ursula. Good luck for your papers. I very much look up to you and Nazish. I hope you both make it. Keep rocking! :)

Oh the main question, the style guide. What should I tell my teacher about that, any idea?
