I thought they would give questions from the mental ability portion to be solved not explain what are the scales of mental ability :@ and there were supposed to be no MCQs from ability portion according to FPSC website.

What about time management? did you manage to solve all the question in a given time frame?..

supergenius Friday, February 19, 2016 10:51 PM

It was an essay paper but they infact asked us to solve 16 questions and there were more than 16 aspects to be adressed as some questions had two topics in it. Anyhow, this is competitive examination and we have to prove our competence!

Calculators were not allowed at my center & for me, it wasn't easy to solve 20 MCQs in 30 minutes as some of the questions needed rough work. Hard luck, I couldn't solve more than 12 MCQs until the papers was snatched :/
FPSC doesn't even give enough time to think about the question.

In General Science, Yes!
Objective was simple too both times
I have a good writing speed. But in current affairs, I just wanted to sleep and go home.
It was a lengthier exam. I had to shorten my last answer. But still it went fine

With a calculator anybody could have had solved that exam. It wasn't allowed on any centre. Paper wasn't difficult and, Alhamdolillah, I did it verbally - literally.

Yes, the paper was easy. But non scientific calculators should be allowed. Using calculator only saves precious time. One can't pass a paper through calculator when one doesn't know the answer. So it's utter illogical to not let use it. We are not the students of KG class.

There was one such calculation, 20 square minus 12 square whole under root. 16, it was.
