My approach was 2 parts. The first focused on what a mentality is, how it forms social structures, how it shapes and creates social norms and societal values. I then looked at colonial mentality; what it is, what purpose and role it served historically and today, the concept of a colonial mentality, key characteristics that define a colonial mentality. In the second part I looked at colonial mentality and how it has impeded Pakistan's progress historically from post - partition onwards. I then examined how it is impeding progress today. I then looked at the consequences we are facing today as a result of this impediment. I then offered solutions on how we can slowly and overtime remove this mentality and mindset from Pakistan. I had an example for every single point and a lot of data to back all my claims. Not sure if I will pass but I think I did an amazing job. |

Life without controversy is no life, but why one should not choose safe haven of conformism.
1) Intro thesis: society requires both conformity and rebel. COnformit is just a means to some end, not an end in itself. Societies that make their conformity and end in itself are bound to be destroyed. they restrict education as a political tool to inhibit ones ability to question. Unless we dont promote Enquiry, we should not hope to get reward God promissed for those who ponder. 2) Abstract what is confrmity, conformity is death etc 3) economic aspects innovation. entrepnuership, etc helps economy 4) social aspects conformity results in wars, injustice, nationalism etc 5) example of fall of USSR 6) discussion on thought, why people conform rather question 7) discussion on education, education should promote question not conform etc 8 conclusion |
