Sakafat
Sakafat is neither journalism nor civilisation. It's "culture."
P.S. Civilisation = Tehzeeb. |
Can saqafat be called heritage?
And is tasawaf mysticism? Sent from my ALE-L21 using Tapatalk
No, culture is exact meaning. Heritage is Wirsa (What we have received from our ancestors). Culture can be heritage but in passage, culture was the appropriate word. Mysticism is correct. Sufism and spiritualism can also be used. |

Mysticism is correct. Sufism and spiritualism can also be used.
Actually I used both culture and heritage. In one or two sentences heritage seemed more appropriate. Thanks!! Sent from my ALE-L21 using Tapatalk |

Anabiya. It is difficult to search exact synonyms and antonyms from lists. It will take time. I cannot do it right now. I will try to post as soon as I get the chance. This portion is my weakness. I am even facing difficulty in counting my correct options. I have just got a rough idea that my score will be between 10-16. I will recommend you not to worry about them right now. Do not search options after coming back from examination hall. They will only increase your level of anxiety. Stay relax and prepare your next paper. One thing that I have learned from CSS is that no one can predict his or her result of both English papers. So, focus on your other papers. |
sakhafat means civilization n aa skhta tha.
No civilization is "Tehzeeb" e.g. Greek Civilization. Civilizations can have distinct culture and there can be more than one. Culture is exact word for "Sakafat" e.g. Culture of Punjab. |

The city, Lahore is not only the place of politics but also an ancient nucleus of culture. The culture of Mughals experienced its zenith in this town. Alike it was the heart of Sikhs' culture. The conventions of Knowledge and Literature also became a share of this city. It served as the hub of mystic people too. Alike, Hazrat Ali Hajveri, an author of renown mystic book "Kashaful Mahjoob" is buried in this place. During British dominion the fashion of Lahore was implemented to the entire Hindustan. Verily the creation of Pakistan couldn't suppress the momentousness of this city.
