@junaid

a line drawn on mercators projection is therefore a constant bearing. such a line is called a laxodrome or a rhumb.
reference physical geography by sarfaraz bajwa , page number 463 the two lines after the fig 28.6

dilatancy theory infact explains the prediction of earthquakes . although i got it wrong by marking the origin of earthquakes but the right option is prediction of earthquakes.

transhumance is infact the right answer ................

coz shifting cultivation is known aS ladang in indonesia, milpa in the americas...........

reference bookname. to the point geography by azmat farooq (csp) foreign servics of pakistan

Slash and burn agriculture typically uses little technology and other tools, and is almost always done for subsistence activity.

it is quite evident by this.
you are right about that definition but look at other things.transhumance is not only practised in northern areas.

sir u r missing the basic point.shifting cultivation is also known by slash and burn technique.it is a part of transhumance.
moreover wikipedia to sirf as a link use is liye kiya he kyo k it is better and reliable.
now text de blij 4th edition p332,it clearly states shifting cultivation and slash and burn technique are one and same thing
now slash and burn in transhumance = slash and burn or shifting cultivation
u r right when u say it is seasonal migration but those who migrate use slash and burn techniques for farming in those areas

shifting cultivation is indeed based on slash and burn technique as written in different books such as Fazle Karim, De Blij, Exam Cram etc but transhumance is something different. Its not a part of shifting cultivation
