I firstly elaborated the concept of ijtihad and its importance
then i reffered fo iqbal's idea of 'paliament of mujtahids"(the reconstruction of religious thought in islam)
the first institution must be parliament..
council of scientists cum mujtahids.
council of economists cum mujtahids.
all the councils should be under a supreme council which is none other than OIC...
so at the end of the day i suggested OIC as the institute for ijtihad..

My opinions are as

Issac or Ishaq A.S was the father of Yaqoob A.S and son of Ibrahim A.S and brother of Ismail A.S ( from another mother ). Correct answer is Yahooda. They were 12 brothers and Bin Yamin was the real brother of Yosaf A.S. Yaqoob A.S known as Jacob in west was nick named Israel and that is what Quran called his children as Bani Israel or children of Israel. He had 12 children so Israel has 12 tribes. The children of Yosaf and Bin Yamin are the Turks according to some scholars and some also include Afghan or Pushtoons as the children of Yosaf A.S. Thats why many Jews call them the 12th lost tribe of Israel. Arabs are the cousins of Jews because they are the children of Ismail A.S and their common father is Ibrahim A.S. The Holy Prophet Saw was arab so Jews became jealous of him as they thought the last prophet will descent among from them. Yahoda's children are called 'yahodi' , therefore it is the correct answers because traditionally they remained jews.

No sahabi died at the hands of propet Saw .. Only one kafir got killed from his hand. Motazila call Quran ' makhloq ' or creation of god. They deviated from main stream Islam. Read the history of Imam Ahmad Bin Hanbal for more information about this sect.

The paper of 2011 was so general that it may add difficulties to the scores of students. Reasons being; less knowledge of students on current issues, less secular thoughts and religious school of thoughts, more work on pet issues as mentioned in syllabus and less references to add beauty to the question. I fear that this paper will surely make a huge number of students suffer failure....God forbid...(Allah na Kare) ....But it sounds!!!

the three names in the 1st MCQ are infact part of Tripitaka...they are volumes in the religious scriptures...so technically....it should be all of the above....however....u can see for ur self and decide

The book named Islam: The misunderstood religion is a nice book for islamiat by Muhammad Qutub

when they ask for translation of any verse then shud we only translate that verse or shud we explain as well?
