What's left in Arabic if advantage of poetry is snatched. The outline mentions only four poets, at least follow your own issued syllabus. And added to that was medium. Now convert all you got into English. Creativity evaporated right at that instant.

brother course outline itself is very confusing! paper 2 part has 11 points! now it's not clear till now what should be prepared and what not?
paper 1 syllabus contains a short essay in arabic and it comes in paper 2! there is lot of confusion!

Abu Tammam
Abbas Mehmud al Aqqad
Impact of Holy Quran on Arabic

Don't you think everyone at least prepare 6-7 personalities including Taha Hussain, Hafiz Ibrahim, Azad Balgrami, Khalil Jibran, Abbas Mehmud al Aqqad, Shauqi and Abu Tammam. Besides that Impact of Quran and Hadith are the most repeated questions since last few years. So, one can attempt these questions (paper) easily. Even though you may blame FPSC either way but overall paper was not that much tough.

What if I say, all the theoretical questions asked in both papers were repeated even you can find the answers of all these questions in my notes available on this forum. The link is given below.

i don't understand whether fpsc is looking to recruit bureaucrats or arabic sholars...i think compulsory papers r more then enough to separate the best from the rest...there is no logic in thrashing some optionals and on the contrary making halwa papers for other optionals..it makes this exam more of a lucky draw then a competitive exam...after 3 months of hard work my dreams came crashing down with this paper ..hope the people behind this paper will rot in hell:mad:

but Abu Tammam is not prepared

1. Mcqs were also strange, comprised Arabic Grammar,
2. Pattern shift, Urdu to English
3. poetry, totally out of course

Brother the issue was that we prepared these questions in urdu. you know that it was paper II which used to give good marks b/c of translation portion. long notes are already less securing, added to that was medium. So in short it ruined the paper.
Secondly there were many like me who relied more on translation and less on personalities.
