It depends on the topic you chose. But whenever you write an essay you must have some concrete arguments or facts and figures because they are the life and soul of your essay. Just like a lawyer defends his case in front of a jury, and proves his point via evidence, similarly you have to display argumentative skills analytically so that when you draw a handsome conclusion the examiner is left with no choice but to agree with you.

topic no:8 seems good and related to exprience people encounter in their lives.

It means FPSC doesn't want to let someone pass. This is quite tough and there is no topic about women as it used to be so long time. I don't think so those who are attempting very first time surely get through.
May Allah help them. This is indication that forth coming exam ll be unexpected and tough enough. So, in order to go through the CE in forth scarifies your eyes. And burn your all boats.. onesec

I don't remember the exact detailed outline, but it was something like this:

Intro
War on Terror
Human Rights
Present situation of human right abuses
Causes of these human right abuses
Effects of human right abuses
Solutions to curb the abuse of human rights
Conclusion

I touched upon many things, e.g abuse of human rights due to laws, deaths, refugees, iraq/syria/afghanistan/pakistan/yemen, prejudice and hatred in west and muslims, notorious prisons, social/economic destruction, children's future, education, livelihood, etc etc

I wrote 1.5 pages outline and 6 pages on essay.. Spent too much time on outline so had to shorten the essay but I touched all the points related to abuse of human rights due to war on terror.

Do you guys think about 1500-1600 words is enough to pass it? Gave two nice quotations in the end as well.. I think they changed the max word requirement from 3500 to 3000, while keeping the minimum at 2500.

So, allow freedom of speech yes but if the exercise of freedom is purposively detrimental to the interests, sentiments of an individual or group then it is our moral obligation to stop thrm.

I attempted this essay topic and i believe this essay is incomplete without reference to Charlie Hebdo. It is because the essay topic in itself is the saying of Voltaire who was from France. My outline was "somewhat" like this:

Now i dont know if the examiner will like it or not but i supported freedom of speech through all means. Including Islam and response of Prophets.
I also supported it through charlie hebdo incident on how an almost bankrupt magazine which was working on debts became an instant hit and sold millions of copies in January 2015.
"Ignore" was my conclusion without getting violent as freedom of speech is a basic human right.
