@Ursala
The us history paper of 2015 seems much tough.
Kindly recommend books which cover all syllabus of the subject.
Are the two books by majumdar sufficient for preparation?

It was tough in a sense that it was a if not wholly then partially bookish leaned paper, which I am not expecting in such exams.
Anyhow, syllabus is being revised and conceptual studies were seen in ce-16 paper.

Nice brother!
I already mentioned some books, just check out us history portion of this forum.
Also consult Wikipedia, it could be a good source of learning.Since , I myself had consulted wiki for cias operation I.e from operation ajex to operation desert storm.( I roughly studied14+operation related to American expansionsim )
For covert actions like cold war, ww-ll and Obama's pivot to Asia, TTIP, I consulted many sites and American channels.

I am afraid I didn't study this book.
But again history and with single book, brother its bit stereo.
P.S. that'd my personal opinion, may be other seniors could have a better plan in this regard.:unsure
