Post IR or Political Science
I've studied Political science in bachelors but never had interest in this subject. I personally found it too dry for my interest. I've been suggested to opt for IR as the say it'll help me in current affairs and other subjects as well. But the point is that I've never studied IR, got no idea about it. Pol sc and IR fall in the same group and i need to select one. Any suggestion from any senior on what subject i should go for?

Default IR is a good option
Study basics of IR in a day or two, if you find interest in the subject then go for it. Btw IR is not that much boring

I would suggest IR.I opted this in CE-2016,having no background in the subject but found it quite easy and interesting.

The political science course is humongous. There are 30 political philosophers to study about, political systems of 9 countries, there is the Pakistan movement and basics of Politcal science in which there are like 10+ chapters.

Honestly, political science should be a 300 mark paper, just because of its vast content...a good prep will take 45 + days..and it's not worth to spend so much time on one subject.

Go for IR, it's syllabus is shorter, more interesting and studying IR will help in subjects like
Int.Law, US history, Essay and Current affairs

Just go for IR as it is interesting while Political Science is more about theory and philosophy.

IR is best choice for you.OPt that subject,you will find it quiet interesting.Easy to cover vast materials that you are seeking for.Saves your precious time and also clear the important topics that are happening in global world.I do strongly suggest you to mark the said subject,rest is your choice.Keep it mandatory for yourself.
