Hi, can anyone plz answer the following question?

15- Hazrat Suhaib belonged to:
(a) Rome (b) Iran (c) Sudan (d) Habasha (e) None of these

Google says that he was a Midianite Prophet. Midianite was a place located in the "northwest Arabian Peninsula" (the "Hejaz").
Which option should I choose?

Or wait... did they ask about the Prophet Shoiab or the companion of Muhammad PBUH? Ah! confused!! :-/

They asked about Sohaib Roomi, he was a slave from Rome and Prophet emancipated him from jewish master. He suggested to make a ditch around Madina in Gazwa Ahzaab (Khandaq).

True that the companion in question is Hazrat Suhaib Roomi R.A .. However, the ditch or trench was an idea of Hazrat Salman Farsi R.A instead ..

Regards ..

I would second Stunner bro point of view. The idea of digging a ditch was put forward by Hazrat Salman OR Suleman as mentioned in "A short history of Islam" by Mazhar-ul-haq and in another book, named " History of Arabs"

Yes I was wrong, sorry it was Hazrat Salman Farsi, In Iran it was a war tactic to digg a ditch or trench. Dear stunner and VetDoctor are right.
