Analyse what?

Analyse the powers of the US Senate. It is worded in a weird way but I guess it's probably asking us to analyse the powers of the US Senate in a way in which we should be able to identify that the US Senate is one of the world's most powerful upper houses. I suppose if we are able to explain why it's so powerful in relation to the usual toothless upper houses, that should be a decent analysis.

Exactly, it is a hot issue in contemporary politics of the globe. Earth witnesses the influence of U.S Senators on global policy making. That was the analysis required in context of American Political System.
People of other world rarely know the name of any member of lower house, but John Kerry is known world wide. That's the stigma of US Senate.

Why is Pol sci low scoring ? the exam looks fine and one can easily score good marks, so y is fpsc rigid in giving good marks in this subject. Can anyone explain and what preparation strategy one can adopt if they want to score well.
