is my ans completely wrong

Q: balance of power in the light of Morgenthau.
Ans: i discussed the concept of power then realist dimension of power politics.

War is result of imbalance :

as i dint know Morgenthau,s concept i wrote follwing points & then discussed them regarding Morgenthau,s concept of Balance:

1) Big power plays a dominant role in allaince regarding balancing in region
2) Balance favours status quo
3)balanced is establised by active intervention
4) Absolute balance doesnt exist
5) states seek balance that favours them
then i discussed war of spanish succession that was fought for balance
alliances against napolean
alliance against germans in ww1
power vaccum due to u.s isolationist policy resulted in WW2

it depends on your own skills. if you have interest in foreign affairs, conspiracies, politics then IR is more interesting than IL. Although today just two halls for IR rest of all for others :)

Totally depends on your aptitude I law is considered easier and more scoring therefore most people choose I law. Today there were hardly 20 candidates with IR in our hall. rest of the candidates were having I law.
