To cause a displacement of a body controlled by elastic forces, work has to be done. For example, work has to be done in stretching a spring against the elastic forces. This work will be stored in the body as potential energy. When the deforming force is released, this potential energy manifests in the form of kinetic energy which makes the body to move. Thus, a body in SHM, has both potential energy and kinetic energy.

Clay is heated at very high temperatures to form ceramics; thus answer could be either hard clay or burnt clay. I am not sure.

If you stand 3ft from a flat mirror, your image will be 3ft on the other side of the mirror, thus 6ft away. Your image is exactly the same size as you, but it appears smaller since it's 6ft away. If your twin brother stood 6ft away, he'd look the same size as that mirror image.

And, as you know, you can change how big the image appears by standing closer or further from the mirror
