Because thae course has been revised. There will be 2 papers of CS.

No text or reference book is in the market, better is to find the e-books of all recommended books mentioned in syllabus

We have some members here who opted and scored very well.
A qualifier of 2018 from kpk opted it and I am sure he would have scored well
