Everyone is busy posting hastily and most of thrm do not even know what was asked and what is the right answer. Jibreel means trusted spirit not the messenger and likewise checking answers here is just to worry oneself.

I attempted Islamiat in Urdu. I had no issues with fluency/writing speed, probably because I always attempted it in Urdu, whether it was Matric, FSc or Bachelors.

Ahmad Abbas Sunday, February 19, 2017 11:07 AM

I always attempted Islamiat in Urdu. But as @Yousaf mentioned writing speed was my problem in it. This time I did it in English and there wasn't any issue of time. I was in the mid of second question in the same time I used to do 1 in Urdu

Yes and that was the right answer too. Salat was made obligatory for all nations. Meraj wasn't asked. In Meraj number of Salat was reduced though it had been must for all previous nations and prophets

Plus, writing with ball pen for 6 hours caused pain in hand, I am thinking of switching to fountain pen; would it be feasible to do so in the middle of exam? :con

Use good quality ball point, they wont cause pain . Else use gel pen, but most seniors dont recommend to use fountain pen because chances are that ink will spread in some days on paper giving it a bad look

Write with a pointer instead. Use marker (blue/black) for headings. It will save time. You can write 3 sentences with the pointer in the same time you write one with the ball point.

Ahmad Abbas Sunday, February 19, 2017 01:37 PM

@Yousaf: Yes you can change your pen anytime. It doesn't impact the exams. One can write essay in black with blue outlines, and similarly the composition paper in blue.

You have 6 papers more. Jo chez thaka rahe hai paper me phenk do

MAAQ Thursday, August 03, 2017 11:32 AM

It will be very much difficult to write the islamiyat paper in English, because there are a number of ayats which you will have to translate, that become very easy to translate in Urdu.
