Saudi Arabia launches military exercise with 20 nations

Saudi Arabia launched a massive military exercise that will include troops from 20 nations, state media reported Monday. The drill, dubbed North Thunder, involves Arab and Muslim countries, according to the Saudi Press Agency. It's taking place in King Khalid Military City in northeastern Saudi Arabia.

What do you think that Pakistan made the right decision by joining this alliance? What can be the possible outcome of this alliance and will it be helpful as a front-line strategy against the propaganda of West against Muslim countries particularly Middle East chaos?

Interesting. Hmm. This could be seen as a potential threat to the Boss West, and a part of me is glad that a new body is there that represents Muslim Military in the world. But, having said that, I do have my reservations about the long term goals of this coalition. I hope, Pakistan is not pushed/coaxed or simply requested to participate in Saudi's war against everything non-saudi and non-wahabi in other Muslim states. If you know what I mean.

Firstly I m Against this ALLAINCE as everyone Knows what is the Motive behind this ALLAINCE ..... !!! Saudi Sheikh's & Iran's RG's Hegomonic Designs are not hidden from anyone ..... so PAKISTAN has to play DIPLOMATICALLY keeping in View Her Geo Strategic Location ....... Secondly ,,, The SAUDI KINGDOM is at RISK coz of some EXTERNAL & INTERNAL Threats & they want to Pacify it & want to USE Pakistani Military to show off their POWER ....3rdly PAKSITAN should be Very carefull as This ALLAINCE might Turn Into an ANTI-SHIA/Anti IRAN Allaince (i Might Be wrong & I hope i m wrong) which would be CATASTROPHIC for PAKISTAN ...... !!!!

This NORTH THUNDER is AIMED at showing some MUSCLE 2 Yemeni Militia which has Toppled their Govt (Saudi Backed Govt) .... & Saudi Kingdom Feels that they have Challenged their Hegomony over their ..... !!! what i can Foresee is that the STORM which has Shook whole of M.E will soon ENGULF Kingdom at Ryaadh !!! & they See Pak Military as their SAVIOUR as they had been Investing alot in them

A stable Saudi Arabia is favorable and important for Pakistan . in case of instability, Pakistan will lose its only true ally . Pakistan needs Saudi Arabia in case of an all out war with India. China may be an economic partner and biggest investor but he wont go to war with India for Pakistan .
Pakistan will cooperate with S.A. on all fronts but through back door. open confrontation with Iran is not favorable and will lead to international sectarian crisis.
DAESH is biggest threat to S.A. as it has the capacity to engage S.A. in long skirmish. SO a coalition is the only solution to counter Daesh and to strengthen S.A.

Not at now.

It's duty of every Muslim to protect the territory of Saudia then either the state is governed by any Sunni or Shia or even by Non-Muslims. But being an ally in a campaign, which is not clear enough would be a folly. It is obvious that we still are at confusion, either it's any war on terror or some part being played to save the hegemony of one over the other cosmetically termed war against terrorism. We are well experienced in joining such alliances and have very rooted history we have clear precedents that what was the outcome of such coalitions. We haven't got cured the consequences of last time coalition and are now re-engaging in another campaign. We seem to be following a policy of U.S and Russia engaging ourselves out of our border but before we do this we should really be like U.S and Russia. At now we can't even get ourselves out of injuries. We have our own issue which need to be solved first. But i may be wrong as solution to these issues only lies in Ryals and Dollars that's why we have to remain a puppet.
